Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!

"redeemed" cutlery

I love upcycling old cutlery or silverware!
I have recently been scouring eBay and now have quite a nice collection of old knives, forks, spoons and other bits and pieces waiting to be "redeemed".
My very talented 10 year old and his dad help me with these.
I design - they make.
Well actually my 10 year old makes,
my husband is relegated to stamping duty and drilling holes.

One of my favourite things to do is to make herb markers like the ones you see above.
They are available with any herb or plant name stamped on them.
However longer names like CORIANDER need to be put onto larger spoons as they don't fit onto teaspoons.
These retail at $3 each.
They are a great gift idea!

I also have some sugar spoons, that can be stamped with either SUGAR or SWEET,
they are available for $5 each.
If you have something else in mind, let me know and I can see what I can do.
I recently did a lovely cake server for a wedding with Mr and Mrs....... and the wedding date stamped on it.

I love seeing things made with old forks.
Here the tines have been twisted and the ends bent up to make a unique set of hooks.
These are also available as individual hooks for $7.50 each.

Another favourite are these fork picture stands
Great to display cards or small pictures.
These are available for $5 each

This unique candle holder was made from a ladle and a piece of redeemed timber.

Then there was this lovely set of four spoons ready for some little tealight candles.
The two candle holders have been sold, but I will be sure to make some more soon.

If there is something unique you would like made please let me know I am happy to take customized orders.
